JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Thirty-seven students and about half the staff are returning to the Anne Carlsen Center in Jamestown.

The center was evacuated in March due to fears of overland flooding.

Thursday was the first day of a two-day return. Students who had been staying at the Heritage Center at Ave Maria Village, Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center and the Zebedee Center at St. John’s Academy returned to the campus Thursday, said Brenda Scholten, marketing and communications director at the ACC.

Students who were at the Jamestown Hospital will return to the ACC campus today.
