FARGO – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has identified a 39-year-old Harwood, N.D., man as the person responsible for an August hit-and-run bicycle crash that sent a woman to the hospital.

Authorities determined Troy Greenlund was responsible for the hit-and-run accident on Aug. 29 on County Road 81, said Capt. Rick Majerus in a statement today.

Greenlund has not been arrested, but Majerus said the case is being forwarded to the Cass County State’s Attorney’s office for prosecution.

Jennifer Walla, 28, was taken to MeritCare Hospital in Fargo by LifeFlight and treated for a concussion, twisted ankle and a laceration on the back of her head, after a car struck her while she was bicycling at about 9:30 p.m.
