Nicole "Pickle" Marie Olstad Werre

Nicole "Pickle" Marie Olstad Werre, 18, died Saturday, Sept. 12 2009, due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Hope, N.D. Nicole was born July 1,199l, in Fargo, ND. She grew up in Galesburg, ND and attended and graduated from Hope-Page High School in May, 2009. She was presently attending the Minnesota State University Moorhead, majoring in Special Education.

Throughout her school years, Pickle excelled in all sports especially volleyball and softball. She was active within her community including working at the Hope Swimming Pool and volunteering her time with the little ones at preschool and Elm River Lutheran Sunday School. She had a great love for animals -big and small.

She is survived by her parents, mother, Cindy Olstad, Galesburg, Fathers, Maynard Werre, Grand Forks and Robert Olstad, Galesburg. Brothers Jacob (Mandy) Olstad Werre, Colgate, ND, Parker Olstad at home, Marcus Werre, Hatton, ND and nephew and Godson Jaxen Olstad Werre, Colgate. Grandparents Lawrence (Geri) Ricord of East Grand Forks, MN., John (Elvira) Olstad, Hope, Maynard Adolf Werre, Grand Forks. She also leaves her much loved aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by Grandmothers Marilyn Ricord and Teresa Werre. She touched so many lives, she will be missed by all.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 7 in Elm River Lutheran Church, Galesburg.

Memorial Service will be Sunday at 2 in Hope Public School.
