FARGO - Football fans attending Saturday's game between North Dakota State University and Wagner College are advised to allow extra time to reach the Fargodome.

As part of the 12th Avenue North roadway reconstruction project, a portion of 12th Avenue North is closed near NDSU. A detour is in place to route motorists up to 19th Avenue North between Broadway and 18th Street, according to a news release issued by the state's Department of Transportation.

The 19th Avenue North entrance to the Fargodome parking lot commonly gets congested during Fargodome events. The combination of detoured traffic and typical event congestion will likely result in travel delays along 19th Avenue North.

Game goers, tailgaters and other motorists in north Fargo are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time to reach their destinations, the release said.
