MeritCare lifts visitor restrictions at hospitals

MeritCare Health System has lifted visitor restrictions at its two Fargo hospital locations.
The restrictions were in place for the past month as a precaution against H1N1 influenza.
MeritCare removed the restrictions in light of a decreasing number of flu cases in the community, according to a news release.
However, health officials ask those with flu-like symptoms to not visit hospitalized patients, come for their regularly scheduled clinic appointments, or bring others with them who have symptoms.
