Forum seeks nominations for 2009 Person of the Year

In a year of inspiring news stories, The Forum is once again seeking readers’ choice for area Person of the Year.

Last year, the youth of Fargo-Moorhead were selected for the annual honor following a year of outstanding achievements.

The year before it was WDAY radio personality and WWII Honor Flight organizer Tracy Briggs. In 2006, The Forum chose North Dakota State University President Joseph Chapman for the honor.

Who will it be this year?

We’re looking for someone who has had an undeniable impact on the Fargo-Moorhead community in 2009.

Let us know who you think deserves this year’s title by sending a note to The Forum containing a name and short description of why this person is deserving of the honor.

Submissions can be made to mhotzler@forumcomm.com or sent to 101 5th St. N., Fargo, N.D., 58107. Be sure to include the words “Person of the Year” on your envelope.

Nominations will be accepted until Dec. 11. A winner will be announced Dec. 31.
