The funeral for Blanche Mary (Pennington) Kienenberger, of 2400 St Francis Dr., Breckenridge, Minnesota, formerly of Milnor, North Dakota, will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church, Milnor, North Dakota.

The funeral for Blanche Mary (Pennington) Kienenberger, of 2400 St Francis Dr., Breckenridge, Minnesota, formerly of Milnor, North Dakota, will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church, Milnor, North Dakota. Reverend Michael Ward will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM up until the time of the service Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Milnor, North Dakota. Burial will be at the Lakeside Cemetery, Milnor, North Dakota.
Blanche Mary (Pennington) Kienenberger, daughter of George and Maude (Payne) Pennington was born July 31, 1915 at Milnor, North Dakota, where she grew up and attended school. She attended Fargo Cosmetology School and then ran beauty shops in the Sargent County area. She was united in marriage to Howard Kienenberger on September 15, 1944 at Milnor, North Dakota. They made their home west of Milnor, where they farmed until 1950. Blanche and Howard later moved to Milnor, where she ran a beauty shop from their home until her retirement in 1983. She was a member of the Milnor United Methodist Church.
Blanche passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the Saint Francis Healthcare Campus in Breckenridge, Minnesota, having reached the age of 94 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Owens, Wahpeton, ND; two sons, Carmen (Bridget) Kienenberger, Glencoe, MN, and Cameron Kienenberger, Georgetown, TX; one sister Alice Thorson, Milnor, ND; four grandchildren, Sean Owens, Wahpeton, ND, Lisa Kienenberger, Fargo, ND, Carrie Kienenberger, Houston, TX, and Amber Kienenberger, Fargo, ND; four great granddaughters, Mariah, Zoe, Reagan and Addison Kienenberger, Fargo, ND; and loving friends Charles Kraby, Georgetown, TX, and Stacy Mauch, Wahpeton, ND. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1997, her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
