Prescription medications have increasingly become more attractive targets for narcotics abusers.

A prescription dropbox is located in the front lobby of the Moorhead Law Enforcement Center, 915 9th Ave. N. All collected medications will be destroyed in an incinerator.

Pills can be left in a bottle or put in a zip-lock bag. Liquids should be sealed in a bottle and secured in a zip-lock bag. No needles should be put in the lock box.

The service is free and anonymous.
