Today through Sunday
Of course, the big draw to RibFest is the mouth-watering barbecued meats and salivating sides. While a cold beverage will nicely wash everything down, each day’s concert lineup provides a nice nightcap to the day. Tonight is for the locals with favorites At the Emporium starting at 6 p.m., followed by 32 Below. Friday kicks it into gear with the Front Fenders at 7 p.m. followed by the Gin Blossoms. Dokken (pictured at right) will rock the Fargodome parking lot Saturday, 1800 N. University Drive, but not before Slaughter and Six Chamber fire up the crowd starting at 5. Fargo’s own Post-Traumatic Funk Syndrome brings a cool touch to the final day on Sunday with a 1 p.m. show. All shows are free with $5 gate admission. (701) 241-9100.
