Barry Barringer’s July 7 letter “Gay, abortion rights in conflict” is ridiculous.
Abortion is a human rights issue (rights of the woman vs. rights of the fetus) that transcends race, gender, sexual orientation, political party or socioeconomic class.
His snide remarks digging at liberals and gays diminish the seriousness of the issue.
