Amanda M. Bertsch, Mandan, N.D.

Amanda Mae Bertsch, 91, Mandan, formerly Robinson, N.D, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, in MedCenter One Care Center, Mandan.

Miss Bertsch was born May 26, 1910, in Bowdon, N.D., where she grew up and attended school. She graduated from a beauty school in 1937. She lived with her brother's family on a farm in Kidder County, N.D., and in the 1950s moved to Robinson where she worked at Kretchman's Grocery Store. She also cooked at the Robinson School and worked for Green Thumb. She wrote the Robinson News for the Steele Ozone Press.

She is survived by a brother, Arthur, New Rockford, N.D.; and a sister, Hazel Schlenker, Bismarck, N.D

Visitation: Today from 1-9 in Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Funeral: Saturday at 11 in United Methodist Church, Robinson.

Burial: Bethany Lutheran Cemetery, Robinson.
