The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded $599,520 in grants to AltraVax, a Fargo-based vaccine research company.
AltraVax will receive matching Small Business Innovation Research Grants of $299,760 for work to develop an HIV vaccine.
The federal funding was distributed by the HHS’ National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases with federal funds appropriated by Congress.
