After a 12-year battle with heart disease, Anderson received a transplant in July. He is doing well and is home recuperating with his wife, Debbie, and sons Chris, Bill, Scott and Glenn Jr.

Freewill donations will be accepted for the breakfast. Proceeds will help the family defray medical and travel expenses.

Donations can also be mailed to Glenn Anderson Benefit Fund, State Bank of Hawley, Hawley, MN 56549.

Dakota Medical Foundation will provide up to $5,000 in matching funds based on contributions made to the benefit fund and/or online. Visit www.dakmed.org and click on the Donate-Lend A Hand link.
