Great Plains Food Bank awarded major grants

The Great Plains Food Bank, Fargo, was awarded a $15,000 grant from Bank of America and a $35,000 grant from Feeding America to support its Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program outreach efforts.

The grants will improve access and provide pre-screening and application assistance for low-income North Dakotans seeking emergency food assistance who are eligible for SNAP benefits but are not currently participating.
