Children’s author visits Barnes & Noble Oct. 4
Jane Kurtz, award-winning author of American Girl’s Doll of 2010, “Lanie,” will share how she came to write the “Lanie” books at 7 p.m. Oct. 4 at Barnes & Noble in Fargo.
Jane Kurtz, award-winning author of American Girl’s Doll of 2010, “Lanie,” will share how she came to write the “Lanie” books at 7 p.m. Oct. 4 at Barnes & Noble in Fargo.
Her visit is in conjunction with a Barnes & Noble book fair supporting Ethiopia Reads, a nonprofit whose mission is to start children’s libraries in Ethiopia where Kurtz’s parents spent 22 years working for the Presbyterian church.
Girls are encouraged to bring their American Girl dolls.
