MAYVILLE, N.D. – Sanford Health has donated the old clinic in Mayville to the Christian Sports Commission, which plans to turn the building into an activity center for college students.

Sanford recently opened a 10,000-square-foot clinic in the eastern North Dakota city.

The activity center also will have apartment space for a dozen students. It will be named the Laurie Berry Christian Center in honor of a former Mayville State University professor.

Sanford Health was formed by the merger of two health systems in the Dakotas last year.
