National Weather Services cancels blizzard watch

The National Weather Service in Grand Forks, N.D., canceled the blizzard watch in effect for most of today.
Instead, the Red River Valley remains in a winter weather advisory until 6 p.m. Thursday.
Brief periods of freezing rain are still possible this evening from the southern Valley into west central Minnesota.
