Bethany to host silent auction, food fest

The Bethany Auxiliary will hold its 25th annual silent auction and food fest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Bethany Retirement Living Resident Center, 201 S. University Drive, Fargo.

The Christmas food fest will feature Scandinavian and other ethnic specialty foods.

The auction will feature gift baskets from area churches and women’s groups, as well as crafts, quilts and a variety of items donated by individuals and area businesses. Bidding will close at 3:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the event benefit residents through the purchase of equipment and other materials to directly enhance the residents’ quality of life. Members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will provide supplementary funding for the event.
