BISMARCK – Gov. Jack Dalrymple will deliver his first State of the State address to state lawmakers and the public Tuesday afternoon.
The event begins at 1 p.m. in the House chamber of the state Capitol. The public is invited to attend. The doors to the chamber will open at 12:30 p.m.

Dalrymple spokesman Jeff Zent said Dalrymple will highlight the state’s accomplishments in economic growth during the past 10 years.
He will also discuss leading economic indicators and examples of how North Dakota continues to grow its economy.
The message will mostly focus on where North Dakota goes from here, Zent said.
Dalrymple will also talk about education and lay out a new approach to job growth that will build on his three objectives of funding priorities, providing tax relief and building financial reserves.
