HORACE, N.D. – The cause of death for the man whose body was found near a grain elevator here on Monday has been ruled suicide.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office said today Vincent W. Friedman, 44, died from self-inflicted injuries.
Investigators used the results of the medical examination and physical evidence at the scene to determine the cause.
Friedman’s vehicle was found near the Dakota Ag Cooperative Elevator, where his body was discovered by snow removal workers on Monday.
Investigators had said they didn’t know why Friedman, of 509 29th Ave. N. in Fargo, was at the elevator.
