ST. PAUL — As finals near, Macalester College is going to the dogs.

The college in St. Paul will hold its semiannual "Dog Day Afternoon" on Saturday. It's when alumni, staff and faculty bring in their pets so students can hug a dog and relieve some stress.

The college hosts the events right before finals. There are usually about a dozen dogs in attendance.
