Scheels 5k run benefits American Red Cross

FARGO – The American Red Cross and Scheels Run for the Red 5k run/walk will be July 21. Proceeds benefit the local Red Cross.

Runners can preregister for the race for $20 at www.scheels.com/events through 9 p.m. July 18. After July 18 and through July 21, the pre-registration fee is $25.

Early-bird packet pickup will be from noon to 5 p.m. July 20 at Scheels, 1551 45th St. S., Fargo, for all runners who registered before July 18.

Race-day registration and packet pickup begins at 4 p.m., and the race starts at 6 p.m. on the north side of Scheels on 45th Street.

Awards immediately follow the race with 14 award categories based on gender and age.
