Over the years, the Potato Days Festival has put Barnesville, Minn., on the map as one of America’s most colorful and creative food events. The annual event continues this year with its many unique happenings, like the national lefse cook-off, mashed potato wrestling, potato car races and the naming of Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. And that’s all on the first day. Events start at 9 a.m. Friday and wind down with a street dance Saturday night. (800) 525-4901.
