FARGO – Police are investigating a hotel robbery here Thursday night.
The crime was reported shortly after 9 p.m. at the Days Inn, 3431 14th Ave. S.
A lone male suspect entered the hotel and demanded money.
“The clerk handed money like he should do, not argue or fight,” Sgt. Shannon Ruziska said.
One man was working at the hotel’s front desk at the time of the robbery. No one was injured.
The suspect left the hotel through the front doors on foot, but Ruziska said police were unsure if the suspect had a car waiting or proceeded on foot.
The suspect was wearing dark clothing and a black face mask. He is believed to be between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall.
The police were canvassing the area Thursday, checking the hotel surveillance cameras as well as surrounding businesses for possible video of the suspect.
“Initially the K-9 track wasn’t very successful because there is a lot of foot traffic in this area,” Ruziska said.
Anyone with any information about this robbery should contact the Fargo police at (701) 241-5777.
