Zimmerman-Carlson

Heather Zimmerman, Fargo, and Grant Carlson, West Fargo, announce their engagement.

Parents are Al and Sandy Zimmerman, West Fargo, and Gene and Karen Carlson, Pine City, Minn.

Heather graduated in 2003 from West Fargo High School and from North Dakota State University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Hospice of the Red River Valley and Essentia Health, Fargo. She also served with the Army National Guard for nine years.

Grant graduated in 1999 from Pine City High School and from NDSU in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. He is employed by Goodin Company, Fargo.

A March 17, 2012, wedding is planned at Zion Lutheran Church, Harwood, N.D., with the reception and dance to follow at the Harwood Community Center.
