Bivens-Metzger

Fawn Bivens, Columbia, Md., and Dustin Metzger, Roanoke, Va., announce their engagement.

Parents are Michael and Yu-Yin Bivens, Waldorf, Md.; and Glenn and Pat Metzger, Fargo.

Fawn graduated in 1999 from Westlake High School, Waldorf, and in 2004 graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a surgical intensive care unit nurse at Washington (D.C.) Hospital Center.

Dustin graduated in 1996 from Shanley High School, Fargo, and in 2001 graduated from Mayville (N.D.) State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a department manager at Cardinal Glass Industries, Roanoke. He also served with the U.S. Army from 2004 to 2008.

An Aug. 18 wedding and reception is planned at the Pier 5 Hotel, Baltimore.
