Boyer-Halonen

Katy Boyer, Fargo, and Brandon Halonen, Blaine, Minn., announce their engagement.

Parents are Stuart and Patricia Boyer, Horace, N.D.; and Dean Halonen and Heidi Ross, Brooklyn Park, Minn.

Katy graduated in 1997 from Kindred (N.D.) High School and in 2004 graduated from North Dakota State University with a pharmacy doctorate. She is a pharmacist at Thrifty White Drug, Forest Lake, Minn.

Brandon graduated in 2000 from Maple Grove (Minn.) High School. He is an engineer at PaR Nuclear, Shoreview, Minn. He also served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 2000 to 2005.

The wedding will be Saturday at Church of the Nativity, followed by a reception at the Ramada Plaza and Suites, both in Fargo.
