Free food canning classes held once a month in Cass County

FARGO – The Cass County Extension Service has scheduled a series of “Let’s Preserve” classes with safety and canning procedures once a month in Cass County Annex basement meeting room.

FARGO – The Cass County Extension Service has scheduled a series of “Let’s Preserve” classes with safety and canning procedures once a month in Cass County Annex basement meeting room.

Three classes are set for the summer: Jams/jellies and fruit products is set for June 21; pickle products and vegetables July 24; and salsa and tomatoes Aug. 7.

All classes will be held at 9 a.m., 2 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room at 1010 2nd Ave. S.

Classes are free, but registration is required by calling (701) 241-5700 or emailing diane.langer@ndsu.edu.
