Turkey barbecue, festival this weekend in Aneta

ANETA, N.D. – The annual turkey barbecue and summer festival is set for this weekend in Aneta.

Friday’s events will include a roast beef and pork loin buffet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Legion Club, a talent show at 7 p.m. in the auditorium, and a street dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. near the Whitetail Bar.

On Saturday, a pancake breakfast is set for 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Sundahl Church, followed by a tractor pull, craft show, parade and the annual turkey barbecue from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the park. A street dance will follow at the Whitetail Bar.

The weekend will conclude with an all-faith service at 10 a.m. in the city park.
