Tungseth-Scheid

Raina Tungseth, Thornton, Colo., and Dan Scheid, North Glenn, Colo., announce their engagement.

Parents are the late Steven Tungseth and Cordee Jo Valen, Moorhead; and Ernie and Cathie Scheid, Fargo.

Raina graduated in 2002 from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, Fergus Falls, Minn. She graduated in 2008 from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and in 2010 graduated from Columbia University, New York City, with a master’s degree in social work. She is a social worker at Centennial Peaks Hospital, Louisville, Colo.

Dan graduated in 1999 from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy and in 2003 graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He earned a master’s degree in sport and fitness in 2011 from the University of Central Florida, Orlando. He is the assistant director of compliance-athletics at the University of North Colorado, Greeley.

A July 7 wedding is planned at the Aspen (Colo.) Chapel, followed by a reception at Aspen Mountain Chalet.

The couple will make their home in Boulder, Colo.
