Harstad-Carlson

Julianna Harstad, Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Shaun Carlson, West Fargo, announce their engagement.

Parents are Bonnie Harstad, West Fargo; Chad Harstad, Hawley, Minn.; and Steve and Joyce Carlson, Garfield, Minn.

Julianna is a 2006 graduate of Moorhead High School and a 2010 graduate of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Detroit Lakes, with an associate’s degree in architectural technology. She is a computer aided drafter and designer at Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, Fargo.

Shaun is a 1997 graduate of Moorhead High School and a 2001 graduate of North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in management information systems. He is the senior network engineer at Arvig, Perham, Minn., and he is also attending the University of Mary, Fargo, where he is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration.

An outdoor wedding is planned on Sept. 15, followed by a reception at the Heritage Hjemkomst Interpretive Center, Moorhead.
