Jansen-Palya

Samantha Jansen and Tyler Palya, Glyndon, Minn., announce their engagement.

Parents are Shayne Jansen and the late Peggy Jansen, Mason, Wis.; and Tom and Marita Palya, Barnesville, Minn.

Samantha graduated in 2008 from Fargo South High School and in 2009 graduated from The Salon Professional Academy, Fargo, with a cosmetology diploma. She is a stylist at Cost Cutters, Fargo.

Tyler graduated in 2007 from Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Minn.) High School and in 2009 graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead, with a diploma in automotive service technology. He is a service technician at Luther Family Buick GMC, Fargo. He has also served with the Army National Guard since 2009.

A July 21 wedding is planned in Glyndon.
