Sam and Joyce (Meyer) Braton, Barnesville, Minn., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 8 at St. James United Church, Barnesville. No gifts, please.

They were married June 6, 1952, at St. James United Church. Sam farmed in the Rollag, Minn., area until he retired in 1994.
They have six children, Debra Leverson, Pelican Rapids, Minn.; Doug Braton, Dilworth; Shirlee (Dana) Holland and Tammy (Doc) Dockter, Barnesville; Brenda Sherwood, Bloomington, Ill.; and Jody (Matt) Huntington, Aurora, Colo.; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
