Johnson-Payne

Katelynn Johnson, Twin Valley, Minn., and Andrew Payne, West Fargo, announce their engagement.

Parents are Angela and Jeremy Thornton, Twin Valley; Dean Johnson, Hillsboro, N.D.; and Jim and Mary Payne, West Fargo.

Katelynn graduated in 2007 from Norman County East High School, Twin Valley, and in 2011 graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Detroit Lakes, with an associate’s degree in nursing. She is currently pursuing a registered nurse degree and works as licensed practical nurse at Elim Rehab and Care Center, Fargo.

Andrew graduated in 2003 from West Fargo High School and in 2007 graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is a firefighter with the Fargo Fire Department.

An Aug. 18 wedding is planned in Halstad, Minn.
