Heavy traffic expected at Sanford concert today

FARGO – Motorists traveling in the vicinity of Veterans Boulevard and Interstate 94 might want to consider alternate routes during events today celebrating the groundbreaking of the new Sanford medical center.

FARGO – Motorists traveling in the vicinity of Veterans Boulevard and Interstate 94 might want to consider alternate routes during events today celebrating the groundbreaking of the new Sanford medical center.

The events, including a concert by the rock band Train, are expected to draw a crowd of about 15,000 employees, family members and guests. The events are not open to the general public.

Traffic will be increased at the intersection of I-94 and Veterans Boulevard from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Event staff will be directing traffic at the intersection of Veterans and 23rd Avenue South.
