Parents are Clarence and Nancy Mertz, Bismarck; and Susan Lee and the late Grant Miller, Casselton, N.D.
Raynell is a financial service associate at Town & Country Credit Union, Fargo, and James is the owner of Miller Services, Fargo, where he does general contracting and remodeling.
A Sept. 1 wedding, reception and dance are planned in Fargo.
