FARGO – The owners of Rhombus Guys Pizza want an exemption to Fargo’s noise ordinance restrictions.
Co-owner Matt Winjum said he plans to address Fargo commissioners at tonight’s board meeting, which begins at in City Hall, 200 3rd St. N.
According to a leter Winjum wrote to the board:
The pizzeria’s downtown Fargo location at 606 Main Ave. has received noise complaints from neighboring residents since the business opened its rooftop patio three weeks ago.
Fargo’s noise ordinance – which protects residents from “unreasonable noise levels” – takes effect at 10 p.m.
The business is asking for a special permit that would exempt Rhombus Guys from the noise ordinance until 2 a.m. between April 1 and Sept. 31.
