Bloink-Fosaaen

Carrie Bloink and Karl Fosaaen were married Sept. 3, 2011, at Flamingo Beach Resort in Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica.

Parents are Jim and Janice Bloink, Scottsville, Ky.; and Eric and Dorine Fosaaen, Fargo.

Carrie graduated in 2004 from Allen County-Scottsville High School and in 2008 she graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind., with a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering. She earned a master’s degree in nuclear health physics from Purdue in 2010. She is a licensing engineer with Xcel Energy, Monticello, Minn.

Karl graduated in 2005 from Fargo North High School and he graduated in 2009 from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is an information security consultant with NetSPI, Minneapolis.

The couple lives in Maple Grove, Minn.
