FARGO – The Sanford Foundation and Roger Maris Cancer Center will host a bone marrow drive here from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at Sunmart, 3175 25th St. S.

The drive is being held in conjunction with the “61 for 61” and “Be the Match” events.

Volunteers can register as potential bone marrow donors and will have a cheek swab performed. The volunteer’s tissue type will then be compared with tissue types of patients in need of transplants. Donors must be between the ages of 18-60, and some health conditions would prevent an individual from registering.
