Sampson-Hurt

Jessica Sampson and Jamell Hurt, Plymouth, Minn., announce their engagement.

Parents are Jerry and Evie Sampson, Fargo; Jean Pittman, Plymouth; and Jeffrey Hurt, Dallas.

Jessica graduated in 2005 from Shanley High School, Fargo, and she attends St. Catherine University, Minneapolis, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a licensed practical nurse at the University of Minnesota Physicians Heart, Edina.

Jamell graduated in 2003 from Wayzata (Minn.) High School, and in 2007 he graduated from Augsburg College, Minneapolis, with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is a finance analyst at Countrywide Tire and Rubber, Plymouth.

An Oct. 13 wedding and reception are planned at the Carlson Towers and Rotunda, Minnetonka, Minn.
