This year’s theme, “Tall Ships, Plowed Fields,” underscores a Heritage Education Commission goal to help families trace their immigrant heritage to distant places and different times.
Sessions will cover topics for all skill levels.
The workshop will feature Blaine Hedberg, the executive director of the Norwegian American Genealogical Research Center in Madison, Wis.
Those who register and pay before Sept. 28 will receive a lunch along with the noon program featuring the 2012 family history research awards.
