William “Skip” and Charlo (Peterson) Shirley, Fargo, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
William “Skip” and Charlo (Peterson) Shirley, Fargo, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
Their children will serve cake and coffee from 10 to 11 a.m. Oct. 7 at First Lutheran Church, Fargo.
They were married Oct. 6, 1962, at First Lutheran Church, Minot, N.D.
They have three children, Deb Shirley (Glenn Lyden), Rochester, Minn.; Chris (Paul) Brendemuhl, Glyndon, Minn.; and Steve (Jennifer) Shirley, Valley City, N.D.; and two granddaughters, Shelby Marie and Anna Marie.
