Smedsrud-Haukos

Chelsey Anne Smedsrud and Joseph William Haukos, Elbow Lake, Minn., announce their engagement.

Parents are Lon and Roxanne Smedsrud, West Fargo; Sam Haukos, Ashby, Minn.; and Cyndi Pederson, Elbow Lake.

Chelsey graduated in 2003 from Fargo North High School, and in 2008 she graduated from the radiology program at Northland Technical College, East Grand Forks, Minn., with an associate degree in applied science and a liberal arts degree. She is a radiologic technologist at Prairie Ridge Hospital, Elbow Lake and Morris, Minn.

Joey graduated in 1999 from West Central Area High School, Barrett, Minn. He is employed by Riley Brothers, Morris.

An Oct. 20 wedding is planned Thumper Pond Resort, Ottertail, Minn., followed by an open house dance at Thumper Pond Resort with music by Tripwire at 8 p.m.
