Gordon “Bud” and Beverly (Nelson) Thompson celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with their family on Sept. 29 in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
Gordon “Bud” and Beverly (Nelson) Thompson celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with their family on Sept. 29 in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
They were married Oct. 12, 1947, at Kirkebo Lutheran Church, Perley, Minn.
They have four children, Gary Thompson and Lowell (Judy) Thompson, Detroit Lakes; Richard (Mary) Thompson, Bismarck; and Sondra (Ceasar) Kaiser; Crookston, Minn.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
