MOORHEAD – Mental health organization NAMI Minnesota will hold a “Hope for Recovery” workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church here.
Participants will learn about mental illness diagnoses, treatments, coping strategies, recovery, the mental health system and local resources.

NAMI Minnesota is a statewide grass-roots organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults living with mental illnesses and their families by providing education, support and advocacy.
Locally, there are two NAMI Connection recovery support groups for adults with mental illnesses.
Meetings are held Mondays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Family Services Building, 715 11th St. N., Room 6, Moorhead, and Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 at St. Genevieve’s Place, Prairie St. John’s, 390 6th Ave. S., Community Room, Fargo.
