Vernell and Avis L. (Anderson) Weiss, Moorhead, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
Vernell and Avis L. (Anderson) Weiss, Moorhead, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
They were married Nov. 24, 1962, at Rollag Lutheran Church near Hawley, Minn.
Vernell worked for Robert Gibb & Sons, and Avis worked for Maintenance Engineering, both in Fargo. They both retired in 2001.
They have three daughters, Rhonda (Kyle) Ambuehl, Andover, Minn.; Michele (Mark) Aanenson, West Fargo; and Janna (Jarred) Cleem, Fargo; and five grandchildren.
