Travel alert issued for all of North Dakota

FARGO – A travel alert has been issued for the entire state of North Dakota. The state Department of Transportation and North Dakota Highway Patrol extended a travel alert in place earlier tonight for western and northern North Dakota to the entire state due to areas of blowing and drifting snow across many roads.

The conditions are expected to worsen overnight and may continue into Sunday.

A travel alert means motorists can still travel but should use caution.
