Ole & Mary Elton

Ole “Red” and Mary (Cavegn) Elton, Detroit Lakes, Minn., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends.

They were married Dec. 26, 1952, at Blessed Sacrament Church, West Fargo.

Red worked for the Boeing Co., Anaheim, Calif., for 24 years and retired in 1988. Mary worked for the Anaheim School District for 26 years and retired in 1986.

They have five children, Sandie (Joseph) Boyer and Michael Elton, Detroit Lakes; Kimberly (Ron) Alexander, Corona, Calif.; Lynn (Rhett) Watson, Camano Island, Wash.; and Mary (Bob) Wilkerson, Cambria, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
