Jerauld Duane and Darlene June (Hanna) Joubert, Tamarac Lake, Pelican Rapids, Minn., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with their family on Saturday in Fargo.

Jerauld Duane and Darlene June (Hanna) Joubert, Tamarac Lake, Pelican Rapids, Minn., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with their family on Saturday in Fargo.

They were married Dec. 27, 1952, by the Rev. Ronsberg at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon, N.D. A reception followed at Hazel Strom’s house.

Jerauld is from the Gwinner, N.D., area and worked for Ranes Motors and South Side Wrecking and Repair until the family moved to Staples, Minn., in 1968, where he taught welding at Irrigation Tech School. In 1969, they moved to the Argusville, N.D., area, where he worked for Staiger Tractor Co. as manager of the experimental department until 1977 when they moved to Longmont, Colo., where he worked for Melroe Multi-Wheel Co.

Darlene is an alumni of the Lisbon High School class of 1951. She sold Avon for 20 years.

They have seven daughters, Linda Kemp, Argusville; Marsha Kemp, Barnesville, Minn.; Carol (Russ) Wierema, LaSalle, Colo.; Diane (Tom) Mueller, Hillsboro, N.D.; Teresa (Steve) Gunther, Longmont, Colo.; Jadene (Dan) Truckey, Green Bay, Wis.; and Lois (Allen) Waggoner, Syracuse, Ind.; a son, Duane Joubert (deceased); 29 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
