Parents are Harold and Rebecca Zerface, Hope, N.D.; Gail and Larry Bakko, Oxbow, N.D.; and the late Melvin Scherweit Jr.
Karra is a lab tech assistant at Sanford Health, Moorhead, and Kyle farms near Casselton.
A Jan. 4 wedding is planned at Eksjo Lutheran Church, Lake Park, Minn., followed by a reception at the Hilton Garden Inn, Fargo.
